If i spilt water on a cci laptop

cci laptops have 4 years warranty right? but how does the coverage hold for something like accidental damages? Some common laptop incidents seem to be spilling something on the keyboard or dropping it. If i did one of those things, can i get it fixed free of charge or would i have to pay? If the coverage is good enough to cover for these kinds of things i'd lean towards a cci laptop. To be honest for the prices that they cost, i could get a better speced laptop for a cheaper price (and still have like one year warranty or something and if i break it, i could fix it with the price difference or something)....so can you tell me of any experiences with accidents with your cci laptop or fixing it?

i havent actually done anything to my laptop but ive been told the insurance basically covers everything > ive been told of people (seniors that wanted the newer model) pouring water on their cci’s so they could get a new one. there is a $100 (i think) deductible in some cases.

I’ve heard of people peeing on them if they want a new one. They just go up there and say, “My roommate got drunk and ****ed on my laptop…”

They won’t even try to fix it. haha
