If I took a class that is non-credited will it affect my gpa if I retake it again?

HELP

Back in freshman year of college I received a D in my intro to college chemistry class.I ended taking chem 30A and received an A and then ended up passing the chem placement exam into Gen Chem 1A. I am sure by the end of this semester I will be either receiving a high B or A for that class. I recently tagged to UC Davis where my tag was approved… however my gpa is a 3.23… just above the required 3.2. I am afraid of receiving even one B next semester and having the tag revoked. After numerous and thorough calculations… if I re-take the class I can raise my gpa up to a 3.32 if I get a B or 3.37 if I receive an A. However, based up the assist website it states that I will receive no credit for chem 31 if I already have taken chem 30 A or Chem 1A. My question is, if I do decide to re-take this class, will my gpa change despite already taking these two classes? I have already talked to a counselor about this and he says I should just forget about the chem 31 class since it will only help improve my gpa a little but he seemed to have very little info on what to do. Please any advice will help. Thank you and appreciate it  Also if it helps I tagged as a selective major in Biology. Also, the website where it says chem 31 will receive no credit: http://web2.assist.org/web-assist/report.do?agreement=tca&reportPath=REPORT_2&reportScript=Rep2.pl&event=28&ia=POSITAS&ay=16-17&arc=N&dora=CHEM

I agree with the counselor.
