If I took courses over at several colleges as a nondegree student, what happens to my gpa upon trans

I am currently at a community college, however I took a bunch of courses over at a two four year colleges (don’t ask me how, I just did) and got A’s in them. However, when I transferred them to my community college, they did not go into my gpa (it’s the colleges policy). However, I plan on transferring to another college (namely SUNY Stony Brook in Long Island NY) sometime in the future. The question is, my gpa for the cc I am in is a 2.2 (low, but it was due to personal reasons), but I did pass several of the courses I took at another four year with A’s, but did not transfer to my current gpa. So what happens them when I transfer over to Stony Brook? Will they average together all the classes I took to get the mean gpa? Sorry if I don’t know how the transfer policy works.

When you apply for transfer admission, the grades from all of your college-level coursework will be taken into account in the admissions decision.

Your Stony Brook GPA will be based just on the classes you took there, not at any other school

What I’m asking is: for transfer, Stony Brook requires 24 credits with a minimum of 3.0 gpa at a strong academic program. My current gpa at the college I’m attending is a 2.2 gpa, but I took several courses at two colleges both in the spring and summer semester, but they did not transfer over to my gpa. So what I’m asking is, when I transfer to Stony Brook in the future, how will they look at my gpa?

It will be like post #1 said. You will send Stony Brook transcripts from all the colleges you have attended, or list all classes you have taken in college and the grades earned (I’m not familiar with their procedure, but its going to be one of these). Stony Brook will then calculate your GPA from all the classes you have taken. They could care less if your current school counts them in your GPA at that school.
