I took the old SAT twice and as a “high achiever” wasn’t happy with my scores because I knew I could do better. I took the new SAT yesterday and am expecting very good results. As a class of 2017 member will I have to submit my old and new scores or will just the new ones be ok? How much will my college admissions process be affected by mediocre old sat scores but very good new sat scores? Will colleges see the old sat scores as something to reject me on or view the new SAT scores as an improvement?
Especially in regards to top colleges where scores are present just to get your foot in the door. Is it simply a consideration in that?
Probably only the schools that require you to submit all scores from every sitting like Yale for example.
Only if a school has that policy. You have score choice.
Hmm, so the all sittings rule applies to the old SAT too? Darn
