Will I have to submit BOTH my old and new SAT scores to colleges?

Hi,

I found out online that the majority of colleges will not superscore old and new SAT scores together. I have taken the old SAT three times now, and I currently have a superscore of 2170. So if I take the new SAT, will admissions officers superscore out of the type of SAT that I performed better on, or will they automatically focus on the new SAT and disregard my 2170 from the old type? And to schools such as Cornell that require applicants to send “All Scores,” will I have to submit BOTH my old and new SAT scores together when applying?

Thanks in advance!

If it says ALL SCORES then yes. That seems pretty clear. If the college will still accept the old SAT then they will use that or the new one, whichever is higher. It’s in both your and their best interests.

I thought some schools starting with class of 2017 only accept the new test? May want to check.
