If I were to transfer...what NYC/Boston schools would I be looking at?

Let me start by saying I'm currently a freshman in Trinity College And I like it here, I'm content. But my dream has always been going to school in Boston. And if not, back home in NYC (must live in a dorm though).

The big problem though, is money. Trinity gives me damn near a full ride. I had an EFC of 0 and only have to take out 3 grand a year in loans. Considering the school is about 55 grand...not too shabby.

What other schools in NYC/Boston can match this financial aid?

The other thing is statistics. I was surprised I got into Trinity...most said it would be a reach. I was only an 89 or so average student, 27 on the ACT....my big thing was my resume and extras, which was pretty damn good at the time and still is. I'm also a URM.

I do plan on majoring in creative writing and film...and law school right after.

And with that said...where the heck should I look into?!

Full rides are hard to come by… and full rides for transfer students even more so. I suppose you can apply and just see what happens - if you don’t get good aid you don’t matriculate.

With your interests, Emerson College in central Boston, seems a good match.
