If I write a better conclusion, how much will my essay score go up?

I really have not done much prep for the essay, so currently, I end up running out of time and writing only one sentence for my conclusion (like "In conclusion, in examining the two individuals above, humans never fail to reach for their goals despite adversity.) Or sometimes, I don't even finish my skimpy sentence (like "In conclusion, in examining the two individuals above, humans never)

So, how much do you think my essay score will go up if I write a proper conclusion (as in a 4 sentence paragraph)?

I got an 8 last time. I know, I know, OMG that is so low ;)

i got an 11, but my conclusion was only 1 sentence long cause i ran out of space. I think your 3 body paragraphs are much more important

I'm not sure how the essay graders really value the conclusion. Many people have written very little/no conclusion at all, and still received 11/12s. Like cory123 said, definitely focus more on the body paragraphs, because that's where you can demonstrate your "critical thinking ability" by using good examples/analysis. That seems to be the biggest criterion in SAT essay grading.

I wrote a long intro, two very long body paragraphs, and a two sentence conclusion and I got an 11.
