I'm going to be starting at the University of Florida as a junior transfer and I still can change my major. My two options are Fiance and Economics. I've ruled out Marketing/Management/etc. I'm not in the program that teaches accounting (it's a limited access program).

What's everyone's general thoughts on Business-econ compared to Finance? More specifically the undergraduate economics degree in general. Keep in mind that there is very little room for elective credits (maybe 3 or 4 classes) at the UG Business school.

My ultimate career goal dream would be to go to U Chicago law school. So I know I would have to really focus on LSAT and I think economics in general would help in the analytic aspect of that but I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket. Then after that it would be the decent living entry level job that you would take with a econ of finance degree.
