if no one helps, i will shrivel up and DIE. CHANCES OF UCLA

SO basically, i've tried reading all the college admissions on all the forums
and boy, there are some crazy people with some crazy EC's
so i want to know if i have a stellar essay
and i have a great SAT score
and a great leadership qualities
and community service
and sports (with improvement) like getting on from JV- Varsity
im so sick of this, even though i feel like my whole word is crashing down
i still dont know yet if im a complete failure.
Even so when my parents think its ohkay to go to Cal state and such
its not ok

and another thing, so UCLA will look and weighted and unweighted GPA?
and will they actually LOOOK at all the courses i take
and what do people mean by this random acceptances
do i have to get lucky or something?
and do i explain my grade drops in my application? OR NOT
very confusing, i wish i learned all about this earlier , never knew the competition would be so intimidating.
for all i know, im still wondering if UCLA is very competitive.(outrageously)

so lets see if this screwed up my ucla chances-unweighted 3.7 something and weighted 4.21??

I don't mean to offend you but being married to a school is often a cause for concern as people who are super enthuastic about going to certain university (which is a good thing) but don't get in (bad thing) kill themselves over it. Although not literally, a mental death is also unfavorable. Have you considered other universities?

I think you have a decent GPA but for UCLA it depends on whether or not you fall within the in-state or our of state category, which I don't know if you mentioned but if you are in-state it should be difficult not extremely difficult. Also I agree that C in AP Chem looks bad, especially in Junior year, which is the most closely examined year of HS. I took AP chem as a junior and got an A and scored a 4 on the AP but now, taking AP Bio senior year, I have a B but I still find it difficult to slack off eventhough grades this year do not matter for me too much. I think you should have gotten some help or something becuase there are numerous resources avaliable. good luck
