<p>I don't know if this matters, but I live 20 minutes from GW so in all likelihood the letter will arrive before those who are postmarked April 1st.</p>

Especially if the instructor sent it in themselves.
Colleges also accept supplementary information all the time, too.
Though, you might want to call them up and just see if they received it, or apologize if you’re really stressing out over it.</p>
