<p>It's 4 degrees and feels even colder if you factor in the wind chill. Wear your boots and long johns, and don't get too hung up on fashion. Seriously, this is not the right weather for pantyhose or good heels or dress shoes. If you MUST wear them, bring them in a bag and change discreetly once you get into the building. There is lots of slush and giant snowbanks everywhere.</p>
<p>Here in New York it’s been hovering around 15-20. It wasn’t too bad when I went to CT for Hotchkiss, but I’d imagine Exeter is a pretty frigid place to be right now.</p>
<p>Fun fact: My Dad recently visited LA for a conference. It was like 40-50F and people were wearing parkas.</p>

<p>Once, my mom was traveling back from California once during the winter and she saw a lot of people in little running shorts and t-shirts (without jackets). I wonder what their reactions were once they got off the plane and into the great New England air.</p>
<p>Just home from Andover Day, and we walked all over campus, Quite messy and slippery. Most people were well prepared.</p>

<p>It did warm up a bit, but it was 4 degrees in the sun at my house this morning, not all that far from prep school central.</p>
<p>Yes, but wait 'til Monday - when the overnight temp is supposed to drop to 3 below! </p>
