I saw Stuyvesant High School (New York) on Channel 1 news today. Some of your students were talking about computers or something...i didn't get a chance to really watch it in depth...

That is incredible...

What are you like studying them?

. . . and why does this matter?

it doesn't...it's just a random thread on a random "event"...

only someone on CC would actually WATCH channel 1. . . lol.

channel 1? lmao no comment

Is there a channel 0?

My school took away Channel 1 so we could have more time for studying for our state-mandated end-of-course examinations....

Well, Channel 1 sucked anyway.

my school has channel 1 news on everday in homeroom...so yeah...

Was it about robotics? I heard on another forum that their team (694 - Stuypulse) was being featured for a Wall Street Journal documentary, this could possibly be it.

What is so bad or good about Channel 1 News?

Channel 1? My TV doesn't have a channel 1 on it. How do you get that?

^Same, I should go get it so I can find all the news on Stuyvesant that I'm missing

Stuyvesant is not all that special. Its a mediocre school filled with mediocre kids. There was a news report on this.

What is channel one? The education station?

I'm guessing it's New York One News. NY1.com

search for channel one on google.

lol..why the heck is this thread becoming popular...2 pages...really?

hurray for random threads...

channel one isn't a new york channel.
it's an "educational" channel that some schools have classes watch. my school got free tvs from some business under the condition that we watch channel one every day for five minutes (or maybe ten....).
