definitely my GPA.

SAT scores, well actually ACT for me

SAT scores. My life would be a lot easier then.

SAT scores. I just don't feel that they do their intended purpose.

gpa, due to the fact some teachers simply give students A's without the student earning them, everyone takes the SAT so its a even field

ugh. a couple months ago I would have wanted the GPA to be much more important. Now however, I'm completly relying on the SATs.
(stupid spanish teacher...)

SATs because I don't think a 3 hour 45 min test should determine your future.

My GPA, without a doubt. ><

gpa. ACT only please.

neither lol!

Well, neither my GPA (3.53) nor my SAT (2020 composite) is significantly better, so I can't really decide. Whichever one would give me the edge into NYU lol :D

Gpa/grades !!!

(Not that my grades are bad (top 5 out of 36 students), but since I am an international student I have no idea how the adcoms will look at my grades )

GPA. 90% flat for an average, 2380 for an SAT.

My school's very grade deflation-y, so the GPA is much better than it looks.

GPA!!!! I have straight As. My ACT is not bad, but it's certainly not perfect. I always inappropriately threat that my ACT is going to get me rejected. :/

My SAT, since I think it's important that I took hard classes and did well in them. Both scores are about the same, though...

gpa.....SAT is a one time thing....study a little and get a good score. GPA you've got to be on top of things for almost 4 years...it's so tiring

Definitely SAT scores...mine aren't bad they're just not great for the colleges I want to apply to! And I agree that a 3 hr 45 min test shouldn't automatically determine whether you get into a good college or not!

Well, honestly, I think they're both important, but I suppose I've always perceived my GPA to be worse than my SAT scores. I think people tend to downplay SAT scores, though--I think it's necessary to have some slightly universal gauge of aptitude as GPA scale really has no constant.

neither...both of mine are very good, and without them, ECs (my weakest point) would be more important
