<p>I think I'd be a terrible parent.</p>
<p>I probably wouldn't pay attention to their needs and I'd tell them to just get over it, because that's what I do to myself. I kind of ignore things (injuries, illness...) that need to be taken care of and I have a tendency to do things the hard way (not all things).</p>
<p>I'm not sure if I ever want to have kids. I want an exciting life of travel, I would never be home!</p>
<p>But if I did, I would only want one. Two absolute max.</p>
<p>I would be pretty strict with my kids. I hate badly behaved children. Getting good grades (or at least, as good of grades as you are capable of) is the most important. I'd also be encouraging though, and make sure my kid has lots of nice childhood experiences/chances to explore his or her interests.</p>
<p>I would beat my children. If they step out of line, I would let my leather belt do the talking. I will neglect them when they are babies. If they are failing in school, I would beat them. If they don't do what I tell them to do, I would beat them. If they threaten to call child services, I would beat them. I would force my children to get jobs as soon as they could and excommunicate them at that point. </p>
<p>Seriously though, I can't imagine myself as a parent. I wouldn't beat them though; I'm not that kind of a person. I'm a kind warm-hearted fellow.</p>
<p>I WOULD NOT beat my children. It's annoying for me, and corporal punishment doesn't accomplish anything.</p>

<p>I'd probably focus on my career first...but if I ever changed my mind, adoption would be taken into serious consideration...if not, I do love dogs.</p>

<p>I hate dogs. I'm more of a cat person. But then I'm slightly allergic to all animal dander (unless he/she/they can be couped up in a cage)....lol I guess I'll just have a ferret or a rabbit or something.</p>

<p>And the correct terminology for a "spank in the face" is a "smack." Depending on the side of his hand he uses, it can also be referred to as a "backhand."</p>

heh...actually, I used to hate dogs too (due to some traumatizing experiences that included jumping over multiple fences)...but then my sister bought this gorgeous mix a few years and she was just so niceeee...</p>

<p>I will be a strict parent. I will not try to be their friend, but instill discipline. I will support them in whatever they want to pursue and I will pay for their college education. I will also put them in private school all their life, since the public school system in this country doesn't work for me. I will also not have more than two kids.</p>

<p>hmmm, if i was a parent, i would probably use corporal punishment (my parents used it on me and i was well-behaved and i continue to be well-behaved), but i won't go over board with it. i will get my kids involved in activities when they are younger (just as i was in every sport under the moon). i will give them some freedom in high school, but not too much. i will push them to work to their full potential, whether that be a 4.0 or a 2.5. and, i will most definitely pay for full tuition at whatever school they want to go to (considering that my parents are paying my full 200k tuition for Harvard). so yeah, i will be just like my parents...</p>

<p>I would have only one child...max. I was actually thinking of adoption too. All I know is that my kid would be very well-behaved. I don't like rude children. If a child embarrassed the hell out of me, I would embarrass the hell out of him/her. </p>
