There are about 45 or so posters that have numerous acceptances, and have not yet indicated a "final". Any lurkers peeking from the wings are welcome.

A tremendous list, representing abundant talent and a lot of work.

For you and for BassDad- a huge round of applause for all of the hard work that you have put into keeping the lists current and for being so generous with your wealth of information and knowledge.

Since the title of this thread is not that specific, and since every post so far has been giving well deserved thanks to bassdad and violadad, I just wanted to say I hope, given this trend, that there will ALSO be responses from people adding to the acceptance/final decisions lists (especially since there is only one classical piano major listed on the final decisions list so far, if I am not mistaken). I really appreciated that violadad started this particular thread. I think for the lists to be as complete as possible will make them even better resources for students who will be applying to music programs next year and in the future. So in addition to the thanks for everything (including the time they have devoted to maintaining/updating the lists!) I just hope that at least a few more people will post with their school choices also. Thanks!

I too would like to thank the string dads for everything. Your responses are always patient, respectful, and wise like so many others posting here!
Happy early dads day. Hope to add to your list in 2 year’s time.

Many thanks to the 'dads from me, too (parent of an '08 grad now blissfully happy at his music school–Bienen at Northwestern). Just compare the lengths of last year’s lists with this year’s lists. Clearly, the word has spread far that this forum is a fantastic source of information for music majors. I plan on keeping up with it through S’s grad school. (My only disagreement with violadad is that I think it should be a standing “O”–I think this “o” is sitting down).
