If you haven't heard by Tuesday, you probably didn't get accepted

no... the process Ben and Jerry's follows in putting toppings on ur cone ;)

What?!?! I LOVE that process!! :)

My friend had a blank decision online but got her acceptance letter just yesterday.

Now I get to run home to the mailbox...hehehehe.

Seriously?

i still havnt heard anything yet.. ay..

I am dead serious. I am not that evil haha.

I'm waiting for my letter too. We're all on the same boat.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF US LEFT!!

Still waiting in FL

still waiting as well

same here..

And I love that process too... altho ive only been there once. Anyhow, that was the first radomt hing that came to Acceptedalready's comment 'the admission process?' :D

im also waiting :|

ditto, still waiting...got 3 freaking waitlists yesterday so I pray to God I get in...

Still waiting.

still....waiting...omgosh...i...cant...stop....thinking....about...this....i....cant...stop...thinking...about...this...i...cant...stop...thinking...about...this...

and another day passes with no word...

"patience is a virtue" <-- i hate this virtue! .. nothing again today..!

Do you think the letters they send are really random or tiered (accepts, then rejects)? and why does it take so long for us to get ours, why can't they send them all at the same time?

Ah, I'm going to stop bumming around here...they haven't sent me anything, not even the financial aid stuff online. I give up. Good luck, everyone.

Well, for what it's worth, my daughter still hasn't heard. This is completely unacceptable. I can't believe that CMU can't send out these letters all at once.

How can kids be receiving financial aid award letters before acceptance letters?

I agree with taxguy: unacceptable.

I totally empathize with you, taxguy. It doesn't make sense that a high-tech university would have such a difficult time handling their correspondence. You would think they send mail by pony express!

Do you think they are stringing some kids along, perhaps waiting for some responses from the first wave of mail?

BTW, I don't think my son heard until almost April 15th last year, and he was accepted into five CMU programs. So, stay optimistic!
