IF you were the President

I don’t know what I’d do about the wars, considering I don’t know what the situation would be… But if I were president I’d have more info to go on.

^^ Exactly. Maybe it’s time to nationalize education in the US, and raise the standards.

^^^seems like high school government sucks then.

Sigh, maybe I should take AP gov, or I can just take it at college.

If you’re pro-life, then wouldn’t you bring the soldiers home so they can stay alive? Or do you only care about the lives that haven’t actually seen Earth yet (and may not ever)?

AP Gov is a good course, College gov is great, you do get a lot of information and opportunities for internships.

For me, if the engineering/comp sci thing doesn’t work out, I want to go into politics.

^^I think that most Republicans encourage military spending for the purpose of protection.

^ I understand. I still think it’s hypocritical.

Republicans were pro-war iirc back in 2001-2003. Then again, nationally, I think we felt the need for it.

Of course, if there wasn’t a good reason to keep them over there. But I’d have no way of knowing that unless I was actually up there commanding it.

^^^ lulz yeah, especially when they complain about spending

And anyway, there’s a big difference between sending soldiers to do a dangerous job and killing people because their existence inconveniences the rest of us.

^^ But, but, but we need to kill them! Who cares that our own people are suffering. Cut spending to education, we need bigger guns!!

^ Really? I don’t see a difference. I’d save 100 people actually LIVING than one who may or may not live. PS: A soldier’s main purpose right now is to kill OTHER people who are simply “an inconvenience for us”.

^^^ Everyone has their project that’s too important to cut…

^^ The difference is that the soldiers are doing a job, which they get paid for, and which is worth the risk. If it isn’t, then it shouldn’t be taken. An unborn baby, on the other hand, didn’t sign up to die for its country.

I’m pro-choice only in the event of rape.
Other than that, pro-life.

Whatever MM.

I think if you’re pro-life you should be pro-life for ALL stages of life. Not just before they come out of the womb. That’s the last thing I’m going to say on this issue. It’s not worth it.

^agreed to the max.

Make Michigan it’s own country.

^^^ I am. I oppose the forcible taking of life of any human, except to protect other humans.

No. They will not be their own country. They will be invaded.
