I fail tests a lot of the time, but it's because I have extreme testing anxiety, and because I know certain tests just don't matter.

Sometimes you just got to roll with things as they come and pray things come out well in the end.

final grade is all that matters....

I just recently found out I flunked an AP Calculus BC test. Which means I now have to get a B on the final to get a B for the class, and an A on the final if I want the quarter C erased.

Yeah. **** happens.

The only F I've gotten this year was an assignment worth 2 points, messed up on the calculations for the problem. So no biggie

thank you for making this thread. i feel sickened when people cry about their 95s..and dont worry we've all failed in school at least once..i mean even the super-geniuses i bet.

I've never failed a test before. In high school, my lowest grade has been a 78 on a geometry test. Freshman year, I didn't get under a 90 on any test in any class. We don't have extra credit or retakes, though.

I got a 33% on a quiz in middle school. It was worth 3 points.

I got a 14% on a calc bc test this year....
good times, good times

i failed a test last week... the beauty of it is, it's ONE TEST. if you just study and improve next time, no one will be the wiser. it's not like in future years your potential employer will pull out that F and say they can't hire you because of it. heck, colleges won't even know.

I failed an APUSH pop quiz today... 8/20 x_x Would've been a 7, but I got an extra credit right (who was born yesterday, December 16 I think? Answers were Catherine of Aragon and Beethoven if you were curious.)

I got a 0% (the epitome of epic failure) on a recent math test, it was a 70% (bsed it) but she deducted all of it because of one answer I put: Bulbasaur Chocolate Kittens.

I finished the whole test in 7 minutes and just walked out, and she just walked over to my desk and looked at it, stupefied, apparently.

Have lunch detention this entire week.

I've failed more tests than I can even remember. I suppose the most recent one that I can remember was a 20% on a calculus test. Tonight is my statistics final, and I'll probably do likewise, considering I have half a semester's worth of homework to do in the next 3 1/2 hours.

Complain to your school about that. Seriously.

I got a 15/57 on an APUSH exam earlier this year. Then I asked the teacher to do a letter of recommendation for me. :)

I'll always remember the 0 I got in third grade on a simple machines test I actually took. I was convinced that a wire wrapped around something was definitely a pully.

Anyway though, I fail things all the time and still manage to get almost straight A's. I guess maybe we just take a lot of tests or something at my school but most people fail at least one test a year. I've probably failed 7 so far this year and 100+ in my life.

Well i have above that....but not by much.

A friend of mine has a 2.4 sooooooo yeah.

Got 30-40s (out of 100) on half of my US history quizzes last year.

...And then you got into MIT =) Great job!

I have never failed a class, but I have gotten pretty darn close to failing this year. Initially, I ended 1st quarter with a 50 in World History Honors, but that was due to a grading error. I had my grade corrected and it now stands at a still disappointing 63. At least it's better than a 50.

A test can only alter your grade by about three-five percentage points.

So really, one failed test isn't a huge deal.
