Well, after 14 1/2 years of school,

I just got my first F. Just a couple minutes ago.

And in a Public Speaking class. Ugh. -_-

Tip: Don't ditch during the last two weeks of class. Not recommended at ALL!

"I got a 0% (the epitome of epic failure) on a recent math test, it was a 70% (bsed it) but she deducted all of it because of one answer I put: Bulbasaur Chocolate Kittens."

hahahahaahahaha, you rule. so much.

Call me a cynical a-hole but for some reason my conscience does not allow me to buy that...

oh, well failed tests in AP Calc over the years. badly too, like below 50%

thank god there was Homework , projects , participation, etc + better tests to average it out

lucky, tests account for 88% of our calc grade this semester...

In 9th grade, in French, I remember taking a test on verbs that everyone agreed was really, really difficult. I think everyone got a "bad grade"... I heard some people had in the range of 60-75%. I had a 37%. Oh yeah.

In 10th grade English, I remember a test on "The Great Gatsby" on which I scored a 44%. The teacher would not believe that I actually read the book, even though I did.

Last year (11th grade), my English teacher gave us reading quizzes that were pretty difficult (really specific, detailed questions). I did the reading every night, but had a lot of trouble with the quizzes; they usually had around 7 questions, and I tended to get in the range of 0/7 to 3/7. Yeah.

Also last year, I got a 59% on a history test. I guess that's almost failing.

I don't need to call you anything, or even have any feelings whatsoever. I'm pretty sure you know me enough that I could care less of a damn if someone on the internet doesn't believe me.

Now, I know you enough to call you out for spending too much time on here - you should be studying math, as the genius you were, developing your genius brain since age..3 or something.

I failed USAMO and I got a 56% on a AP Physics Test this year (however, it was curved up to a B+)
[/quote]

This does not count.

Lol

I did so bad in Algebra II in 9th grade... :-/

Apparently I failed my AP Bio exam yesterday. I got a 53%. What's horrible is that's the highest grade out of both of the classes and we got to use our review AND book on the test.

Failed a couple of AP USH tests/quizzes, failed some geometry homework... passed geometry with a 98 and currently have a 98 in AP USH... no worries

The second quarter was the one that screwed me over for Honors Chemistry.

I got 67% on the first test. Then 70% for the second. And those were the only two tests of the quarter, and test grades count for 55% of the grade.

I ended up with a B- as a semester average.

I think I got a 2 out of 10 on an English quiz, but whatever, it's a tiny reading quiz so it shouldn't matter.

I failed a Macbeth quiz in Lit last year because I was thinking of the wrong scene. The teacher was asking about Lady Macbeth's sleepwalking scene, and I was answering about the Macbeth with his generals scene. Since quizzes are given orally in that class, I had no idea that I was writing about the wrong scene until we passed our papers left and started grading them.

I ended up with a 40/100 - meaning I got 6 out of 7 questions wrong, but got the bonus question - teacher converts all grades to percents out of 100 before putting them in the gradebook. It's a weird system.

And that grade (to sound like a typical CCer here :)) cost me my semester A+. At my school you need a 98.5% to get an A+, and I had a 98.43 for the semester.

So that's my epic fail.

Haha @ bookworm. I never did like Macbeth.

Did I mention the number of quizzes I failed in English last year, when they asked line-by-line specifics of the Scarlet Letter?

Ooo that's harsh.

We had a long Macbeth test with memorization, short answers, and essay and I somehow got a 100. My teacher must like us or something, haha

i got a 25 on my Algebra test and a 30 on my Physics test on the same day!

in algebra 2 i've failed all the test except for one with a 80 when others got freakin 100. uh huh!! i think i might have to take the class over again :(

Amazing failure-
I got like, a 30% on an AP world test this quarter and managed to end up with an A...like w.t.f. haha. I was so happy yet so baffled.

Haha, I fail pop quizzes quite frequently (like short quizzes worth 5-20 points, no big deal though), but never a test until this year. On an AP Chem test, I got a 56 with the curve! Surprisingly, that was around the median grade for the class on that test lol. I still managed to barely pull of an A- for the semester though.
