Ifs

Anyone thinking about doing an IFS? I'm thinking about going AND living in the IFS extended year long learning community... I'm hoping its like motivated students who still like to.. uhm... party...

I was thinking about it, then I learned how hard the classes really are. So i'm not so sure.

A2, what are you thinking for housing? I'm trying to get this app out ASAP but its hard without ever going there...

I will probably do this. Don't you take only one class? How do you know the classes are hard?

well it dpends on the classes you take and your major and what school your in, for business i know that their are alot of requirements along with the general requirements for all IUB students and i know the business curriculum is tough so not all people like a2wolves would consider doing ifs cuz he would be swamped with the important classes he needs to take. i am a business student and looking through the kelley req. to graduate, man there is alot to do so im not gona take a ifs or anything and ima use my ap credit to get all the minor stuff out of the way.

i applied to kelley as a finance major. I dont think i got admitted into the b-school though, it didnt say anything in the packet they sent me. where can i find the required classes for business and the general ed requirements?

I thought IFS was done before you got to IU, so you can get to know what a college class is like. Maybe i'm wrong, and maybe I mis-read.

HauckT-I applied to a Learning Community (Sports and Society) although I also requested the NW neighborhood if I don't get in there. I think McNutt would be a blast from what i've heard about it.

mike321 - Did you check the Freshman early entry requirements, and how you can apply to the school?

<a href="http://www.kelley.iu.edu/ugrad/admission/requirements.cfm%5B/url%5D">http://www.kelley.iu.edu/ugrad/admission/requirements.cfm</a></p>

For the direct admit program, meaning gaining access to the program freshman year, you need an SAT composite score of 1270 or ACT composite score of 29 AND top 10 percent of high school class or 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

If you don't meet those requirements, you go to Indiana and take some classes, then apply after your Sophomore year. You need a 3.0 to gain acceptance.

tats the link to the degree requirements to get a b.s. in business and graduate IU successfully. its alot i tink... but im not sure if some of the courses overlap or not.
