Generally, how hard is it to get in? Telling me stats of people who were accepted in previous years would be great. Thanks.

Really depends on which college.

I've seen 3.8/30 ACT's rejected and 3.2/25 ACT's accepted.

Those are about the limits from a reputable high school.

If you want middle 50% ranges for each college, Illinois provides them on-line in its admission info for each college for current freshman: http://www.oar.uiuc.edu/future/apply/requirements_freshman.html

Overall admission rate was about 68% for 2007 Freshman, although that varies among colleges -- for example, the business college admitted about 47% but LAS and engineering come close to that 68%.

thanks, anyone else?

they don't have the admission standards for Division of General Studies (DGS). I assume it's because they are in its first year, but does anyone have any idea what the difficulty is to get into DGS? my guess is that it is the easiest one to get in, but if anyone knows something, please tell me

Division of Gneral Studies is what is now designated for those who apply undecided on a major. In the past the overall admission rate of the university, e.g., 68% last year, has also been the admission rate of those who applied undecided and you should expect that the comparable middle 50% percent range for rank/test score will be about the same as that for Arts & Sciences.
