<p>I just nailed my interview. She said she really hopes I get in and was very impressed with my resume and our conversation. Unfortunately, I've heard that the interview doesn't carry much weight. Will it help me get in if she gives a glowing recommendation or will it not have much influence?</p>
<p>You didn’t have an interview. You had an information session. Unless you applied to AAP or Hotel. The alumnus will file a report, and it can only help you to meet with the alumnus because it might be able to fill in some blanks about yourself or provide additional information.</p>
