Ilr?

I am very passionate about the ILR program at cornell. It seems like a good program to meet my interest on economics and politics without the math and science lol. And I plan on attending Law school If I am admitted.

I would like to know if this EC that I am doing will show my passion on helping the 3rd world countries and so on. I would likely have only 3 EC and this one would be my big one where it is a all or nothing.

Let's Say from 10-11 so 2 Years process I decide to make a club but is not officiated meaning no contact with school. I have members ranging from my friends to my cousins. We meet a couple times a week to discuss ways to bring in money for our project.

We hold garage sales, lawn services and community service events around the metro where all the money will go to funding a school supplies/Utilities care package for my mom and I or maybe my uncle if I can't afford the 2 tickets at the end of my junior year to Vietnam to visit my parents native towns and to donate the package to the kids and local schools. I know my uncle, he is a principle at the local vietnam school. We could get a official document so it can be proof. This is something that is my passion because any thing to help my country is a plus

And how about a Online Business? I devote a lot of time to make a 60$ month income where so and so % goes to Vietnam Donation Fund.

And Basketball, even though I don't play in a sports team. I still practice at least 1-2 hours day at gym or at home. <<< not EC right? Yea.

I plan to ED Cornell also in the future and I am first generation College Student. Thanks

The first club would be great. The online business, good, but not like the first club, and the basketball- not an EC.

1st gen college student = $$$$

I think the first club would be make or break. Cause I don’t have time for many EC so this is probably my only chance for passion.

Thanks for response.

BUMP… thanks and I am not going to apply ILR to transfer out because I appreciate the ILR program.

Is there any other schools in U.S that offer ILR program or similar?

the only other program i can think of is at penn state

[Labor Studies & Employment Relations](http://lser.la.psu.edu/students/undergraduate/)

I believe Rutgers offers a major in labour studies and employment relations.
Also in response to your first post, I think your online business could be emphasized. My “Why ILR” essay was primarily based on that.
