What kind of info should I have handy?

And what kind of questions should I expect?

They will just ask you stuff from your scholarship application and also your USC application. It was casual. My son was interviewed by a young women who had graduated 3 years ago.

Good Luck!

Dang, I don’t remember any of that stuff. lol

Oh, and thanks!

Did you print a copy, or maybe can you still access it through the online application? Good luck!

Ahh, it went extremely well!

Awesome. Hope you get it!

Fight On!

So, did anyone who posts here get the SCions Scholarship?

Still waiting, but this is about the time that they announced the winners of the award last year via email. In fact based on last year’s timing, today would be the day that we should find out.

Good Luck!

No word here.

Nothing here either.

mdcissp, is your son a legacy? I didn’t know you or your H went to USC. I didn’t know you could apply after freshman year either. Darn, D should have applied to the Alumni again if that counts too.
Best of luck to all of you who applied!

My son is a legacy as my husband got his masters from USC Engineering. I anticipate that this was probably a very competitive year for these scholarships with the economy being down. I think the students have to apply every year for these scholarships because they are looking at GPA as a factor in the decision.

No word yet…
