im beyond miserable

I've asked that NYU question too, and have gotten no clear answer. The best I can come up with is the surge in interest in business/money (NYU's close to Wall Street), JFK Jr. went to law school there, Guiliani made the city safer, and "Sex and the City" made it look like it is fun to spend your money on shoes and complain about men.

While money still seems to be in vogue, JFK Jr. is dead, Bloomberg is mayor, and the "Sex and the City" gals are all knocking on menopause's door. Go figure.

Miserable?

OOOHHHHH NOOOOO, you got rejected from 3 out of 14 pretty good/excellent schools.

Suck it up, get over it, and if you can't please seek therapy.

Stop complaining over spilt milk.

You got into very good schools and there is really no reason for you to be miserable. At least be happy you're going to college.
