I'm confused....

Hey everybody,
So its down to the last month for the October SAT
I've just now started studying, lol, some miracle will happen.
Anyways, I have two books I'm using: the PR review Cracking the New SAT and Master the New SAT, but their practice tests are too different. The Master book's has 8 sections, with one 50-question writing part (I have done very poorly on this section because it's very long). The PR has 10 (but one math section is "experimental") sections with 2 shorter writing sections. Btw, the number of questions in each practice exam is not the same in the two books. Which book is closer to the real exam? Is there really a 50-question writing section? If so I'm pretty much screwed as I haven't broken a 700 in writing in Master...Also, the PR book seems to have much easier questions, as I consistently get 2270+, while the other book gives me at most 2150.
Sorry for the long post!
Any info will be greatly appreciated

I had PR, Barron's, and the Blue Book last year. Basically, I went through both of them and realized Barron's was off, and PR's was correct - well, mostly anyway. I dont think any of the books agree on the number of questions (blue book would be correct, being CB) but PR had 10 sections, plus the essay section which they didn't number. So the total is 11 including the essay.

What exactly is the Blue Book? Master the New SAT is blue kind of....
So PR is best??? Thanks!

The official College Board publication. (which is actually the best)

Oh, the PR book I was talking about was the 11 tests book, but it should be the same as their SAT book in terms of form.
