I'm freaking out for the AP Bio Exam?

Okay so, I took the practice exam on Sparknotes and got a 2 on it but it's not the multiple choice I'm worried about, it's the essay. I've looked at past essay questions and I didn't know how to go about answering ANY of them. I'm studying from the Barron's book right now but I'm really scared I'll leave all four essays blank on the exam. Help! What can I do? Ugh it's not my best subject either, I got a C+ first semester and a C for third term. Will I completely bomb the exam?

Welcome to the club. I would also appreciate input on this topic.

haha, Arachnotron, we meet again. one more common affliction. i’m freaking out about bio too.

haha the essays scare me to, mostly because they give you like 80 minutes or whatever for 4 questions and I think I’m gunna be done in 10 minutes and look like a fool.

LOL I saw something earlier today where people made up ridiculous answers like made a poem about biology and doodled in those 80 minutes LOL and one got a 5!

When answering FRQs, write down everything you know. Everything. As if you were explaining it to someone who knows nothing about biology. If you look at the scoring guidelines, you can get points for very basic info. As long as you don’t contradict yourself, you should be fine.

@Pinkstarcloud i saw one of those, too! this person wrote poems on all the essays (very vague, vague poems) and passed!

@Phishy that’s very true, my teacher said that you should most importantly write down the basic things, i.e. if it talks about photosynthesis, write the eq or write the def.

p.s. our class took the ap 2008 FR exam as a practice, i was like o.O! on #2 for Form A, i pwned the rest.
