<p>I am an international student and I'm going to Cornell College this fall to major in computer science. </p>
<p>So, I want you guys' opinions about spending my important next four years there! </p>

<p>Uh…I meant Cornell College not UNIVERSITY…and I’m sorry about the suicides…thz for ur post though</p>
<p>Advantages: It is a fine liberal arts college that will be conveniently confused with Cornell University amongst most people you meet for the rest of your life and it is up to your discretion to correct them or not.</p>
<p>Disadvantages: It isn’t Cornell University.</p>
<p>You should totally just list “Cornell” on your resumes.</p>
<p>Is Cornell College ok for academics? I mean the rigor of the coursework…etc, etc,… uh…yeah…and the dorms?? fine?</p>

<p>Cornell College is a great little school. I wish more colleges would adopt their one-course-at-a-time system. It’s well-known for the sciences and offers a student research fair each year, and theatre and the arts are also quite good.</p>
<p>Definitely take advantage of the name.</p>
<p>Disadvantage: It’s in Iowa.</p>
<p>Advantage: Iowa has a pretty low cost of living.</p>
<p>Yeah… Iowa is pretty awesome. I don’t know why it gets a bad name. Iowa City is one of the coolest little towns I have ever been to. Very sophisticated for the Midwest as well. Also, driving West on I-80, there are acres of wind-power farms that are unbelievable. I drove through when there was a lot of fog so it looked like blades were just coming out of the clouds… Very surreal.</p>

<p>People seem to trash the Midwest despite the fact that without it we’d all be ****ing starving.</p>

<p>Screw the Midwest and their subsidized corn. They even had the audacity to copy one of America’s finest institutions…</p>
<p>Cornell College would seem like a good place to go… if you can deal with their religion…</p>
<p>Better learn to enjoy explaining that you’re not from that other Cornell until, oh, the end of time.</p>
