I just got called for an interview, a late one too. It’s gonna be this weekend or sometime early next week, I’m still waiting for a callback. Does this mean that my app is gonna be one of the last ones to be discuss/review?

I’m just anxious because I think that those last ones won’t be able to get a fair review, since they probably have filled up the class by then. I don’t know, what do you guys think?

I say it's a good thing. ;) I mean the deadlines past, and yet, they're still pushing for an interview... that could only mean they are interested; if they weren't, why still push for an interview when you don't really need one?

It's either good (as in Penn asked for the interview) or neutral (the interviewer hadn't gotten around to it yet)- definitely not bad!

Don't worry about being the last read - if they didn't ask for the interview, that won't hold up a decision. If Penn did ask (don't know if they have ever been known to do this) then they are seriously considering you. Interviews are not required, so you're off the hook in any case. Good luck!

good luck!!.. penn interviewers are chill.. my interviewer talked to me about the alcohol situation (apparently penn never runs dry.. always a good thing.. haha) at penn and how when he went a lot of west philadelphia liquor stores didnt card.. i felt kind of awkward at first.. but he was wicked nice..
