Hello everyone. I am currently a sophomore, but thinking about college greatly (I have to, if I want to turn my grades around.)

Last year, my grades weren’t great. Not bad, just A’s and B’s. This brings me to a 3.5 unweighted, 4.0 weighted gpa. If I continue getting straight A’s until senior year, (which I can, I was lazy last year), then I can raise my gpa to a 3.9. This will take a lot of work, including taking 5 online classes that are calculated into my grade.

So, that put aside, lets just pretend my gpa is 3.9 UW, 4.5 W.

Now, I am involved in 3 clubs.

Art Club, Youth in Government, and Ecology club.

I am thinking of starting a Piano club.

I will be going to New York, Washington, and Philadelphia to observe Government Processes with my Youth in Government club.

I will be taking 3 languages at once, French (1-3) Latin (1-3) and Spanish (1-3).

I will be running for offices next year in Youth in Government, and writing an actual bill.

I am currently volunteering 4 hours a week with mentally challenged children, and 2 hours a week at a hospital. This, plus summer time, will give me possibly 600-800 hours of community service.

Next year, I will be in all the clubs i’m currently in, plus German & French club. (I want to be president of both)

I’m not positive what classes i’m taking next year, but I’m thinking AP anatomy and AP Physics are high up on my list of choices.

What can I do to improve my chances of getting into Brown?
