<p>lol does anyone else feel as nervous as I do? I just wanna share and vent some of the nervous energy going around my body right now.</p>

<p>OMG YES! I'm totally in the same boat as you...though I might not be quite as crushed because I love quite a few of my other choices, too. And yes, I am keeping my hopes very low...it always works it better that way, I've found.
Also, with this whole college search, application & now waiting process, I find myself becoming totally religious all of a sudden! Like, every once in a while I'll just randomly pray to God to let me get into Princeton. How obsessive is that?! I can't believe we have to wait almost 2 more months to find out; I'm already soooo impatient and I only submitted my app a week and a half ago!!</p>

I keep my hopes as low as possible... I tell myself I'm not getting in and I don't even let the thought of being accepted enter my mind. So when I get deferred/rejected I have already experienced some of the sadness.</p>

<p>I actually just posted on the "backup schools" thread, but whatever, I'll say it again because I love to rattle off my list (yes, I am SUCH a nerd)! I love the small LAC thing...so Swarthmore, Amherst, Williams, also Haverford, Middlebury, and Vassar, and even a few all-women's schools: (which I swore in the beginning of the process that I would never, ever apply to!) Smith, Wellesley, and Bryn Mawr. It just happens that my list is basically half safeties, but I love all of those schools so much that I just couldn't drop any of them! Hbu? What schools do you like?</p>
<p>haha thanks! I just read it in the other thread but I'll reply again too. I have a friend at Haverford and she loves it... if that means anything to you lol. I actually haven't visited ANYWHERE except Princeton, Elon, and UGA... but I ask everyone and anyone about colleges, so I think I have a good idea about other places... also, I look at pictures and info online ALL the time! I'm kind of obsessed. So I think I'll apply to University of Chicago, maybe Northwestern, Duke, MIT, Boston College, and William & Mary. But I'm going to visit places during Thanksgiving break so hopefully I'll get a better idea then.</p>

<p>Lol, my sister goes to Phillips Exeter Academy, which is said to be #1 in the nation. They have a big history, like Daniel Webster graduated from there, Dan Brown (author of Da Vinci Code) was an English prof there,etc..</p>
<p>but wats amazing is that they have so many awesome classes, like Ornithology Honors!! I wanna stare at pics of birds all day and have a good weighted gpa lol!!</p>

<p>It's crazy, but whenever I have a free second I think of Princeton. I keep my hopes low as well. Being deferred would be a success - but being thrown out in the first round ? I don't know. That would still be a bit of a disappointment.</p>
<p>I don't have a 2nd dream school - but I know I will find a beautiful university never the less. That helps...a bit.</p>
<p>I am deeply religious, and to be honest, I think that if I do not get into Princeton, then maybe this wasn't the best school for me after all.</p>
