I'm just stressing out here, do I have a chance?

Hi guys, I'm really aiming for mid tier UCs, except davis, and a high reach would be SD.

Thanks for taking the time to chance me:

Bio Science major
3.55 uw
3.7 ish w

2230/ 610 / 700

200 hrs volunteering(at different places)
some unpaid work experience
no leadership positions in clubs

Indian American, born here, first gen, low income

I got the supplement for uc irvine, although it might have been only because I applied EOP.

Thanks again guys, I just want to know if it's possible.

On a side note, the SAT thing was a "4th time is a charm" kinda deal, would that hurt me in any way?

Thanks!

of course you have a good chance, any time they have not told you that you are rejected, there is still hope …

thanks leakers

You have a pretty good chance I believe. Don’t be surprised if you get waitlisted though…it happens. I don’t think you will be rejected though.

we will all know by 3/21 … 5 more freaking days !!!

Five days is when my spring vacation starts. :)

I look forward to seeing you little high school seniors celebrating. . .or screaming. . . about the decisions.

lol

first of all theleakers best response ever :D

and i think you have a really good shot especially because of your SAT score
though the gpa is kinda lowish for UCSB (not by a lot or anything) but then it depends on your course load as well

also just out of curiosity why not davis? its bio program is really good

Thanks ocean, you’re right, it happens.

@above poster: Yea that GPA thing is really bringing me down I guess. I don’t want to go to Davis mainly because it’s really far from home, I live in the san fernando valley, about 20 miles from LA. I’m definitely going to be staying in the dorms, but I would like to come home every now and then. Thanks for the chance!

Thanks for all the replies guys.
