I'm a sophmore in Cali, and I just finished Level 10 Certificate of Merit
My junior year is coming up soon, and I don't think I'll be able to practice very much.
My mom wants me to continue, but I honestly think there is no point.
What should I do?

I wouldn’t quit. if junior year is busier for you, just spend less time on it. if it turns out that you’re too busy, you can consider quitting. but it seems a shame to quit when you’ve already gotten so far

Quit piano?!?!?!?! Why would you ever do that?!

I guess if you don’t want to keep playing it, then you should quit. But it’s such an awesome instrument…

I quit taking lessons last December because of another EC and do not regret it. Now, I’m still able to play whenever I want to and can polish up my old pieces.

Please don’t do something you will surely regret later in life. If you have reached level 10 you have obviously put in years of study. Spend less time on it next year if you want, but don’t quit altogether. Colleges like to see commitment to an EC, so your long time study of piano will serve you well.
Sometimes, mom knows best :).
