So i called the admission department and asked about my application status in an effort to get a decision. The guys just said we have everything and you'll hear from us by the first week of April. This sucks...

same to me, the lady sounded ****ed, it was 4 and i guess she really wanted to go home.

same here. my college advisor told me usc is known for sending out letters very late...

i got my RD letter 2 weeks ago.

rd?. whats up with acronyms... i especially find D and S very odd among the parents crowd

I soo want to go to USC!!

madkapitolist ~ D is for daughter, S for son. DD is dear daughter, and DS is dear son. DH should be dear husband, but some of us suspect it really means dumb husband...

I already got mine and I'm so happy I did.. (i haven't heard from my other choices so...) least i have somewhere to go.

My friend and I both called, I called two days in a row. The first day the guy said they had only sent out 5-10 percent of acceptances and majority were in the first two weeks of april. The second day I was told by a lady that they had everything and hadn't made a decision yet. I asked when I would get a letter she said April 1st so I asked if I had been rejected. She said they hadn't reviewed my file yet and I hadn't been considered; I don't really believe her though =

It was late April and I still had not heard from USC whether I had been accepted or rejected so I called them and the girl on the phone had to get authorization to tell me that I had been accepted as a Spring Admit. The admissions can be really goofy.

OMG late April? that's another month.....i don't think my nerves could stand it.
But I was laughing earlier as I read that we go from being crazed about admission to being crazed about our financial aid package. If I don't hear until late April, I'll get it all at once. always look on the bright side of life

Sirwatson1, did you originally apply as a Spring Admit?

oh god. our frazzled nerves. i hope none of us passes out from insanity.
