other than civil engineering, are there any good engineering topics for mostly right brained students?

[Let me google that for you](http://lmgtfy.com/?q=any+good+engineering+topics+for+mostly+right+brained+students%3F+)

Haha, hell if I know!

Architectural engineering?

I would be what some consider “right-brained” as well. Though my primary interests were in music and creative writing in my early life, I took a chance and enrolled in Electrical Engineering in college. Its broad scope and emphasis on problem-solving can make it a pretty good choice for right-brained people; that is, if the true beauty of it is revealed to you.

I’m a right-brained ChemE! {At least I think I’m right-brained, some tests say I’m Left, but whatever. Do what interests you.}

Well I’m full brained, that means all your brains are twice as stupider then as mine is.

You might want to check out this program. It looks like a cross between architecure, mechanical engineering, and some graphic design. Apparently, it’s getting fully ABET accredited at the University of Washington, and is being talked about at places like UIUC, U. Florida, Stanford, and Texas A&M.

it’s a trap!

Spoil sport.

Sorry, Admiral Ackbar wasn’t able to make it.

Your tongues can’t repel flavor of that magnitude!!!

Record for hijacked threads tonight? Everyone doing homework or something? Haha

Well since we are hijacking the topic, I’m starting to really like Dog Fish Head IPA.

In general, Dog Fish Head is a very quality brewery. I would also recommend the Three Floyds Brewery. I have never had anything bad from them.

However, my two all-time favorite beers…

Chimay Red Trappist Ale
Ayinger Celebrator Doppelbock

Mmmmmmmmm…

Chimay is great! Red, blue or grey (I think) it all tastes wonderful.

Westvleteren is really good too.

I’m starting to also get into good porters and imperial stouts.

So far I am not a huge fan of porters, and stouts really just depend on the particular brew. It is rather amazing that I manage not to like porters though considering how much I like dark beers. I still love doppelbocks.

And where on Earth did you find Westvleteren? I really want to try the 12 considering it has such a great reputation but it is impossible to find outside of Belgium.

Lately I have also been getting into trying different types of Scotch.

I had West at a friend’s place a while ago, I think he ordered it or stole it from a monk. Scotch wise I’m slowly expanding my horizons, I have tried the Glenlivet and a few of the Walkers.

Still I think my drink of choice is Makers Mark and cola.

Man, I HAVE to get my hands on some West 12. I wonder if I go talk to the local liquor store if they know where to get it. Or maybe google will turn up some answers. Hmm.

And with Scotch, I got started when I visited Scotland last summer. I had a little there and brought home a local malt from a small distillery. So far, my favorites are the Invararity, Macallan 12 and Laphroaig. Highland Park is next on my “to buy” list when I run out of Laphroaig.

Ever try Absinthe?

A friend of mine brought some over through customs from Ukraine, I have to say it was pretty good! Potent but great to sip on.

Never had it. I didn’t get the chance when I was over in Europe. I am sure I will be back. I LOVE traveling so sooner or later I will get back there to try some. I also want to go on a beer tour of Belgium and Germany.

Ok Bone.

I’m going Gandalf on you–THOU SHALT NOT PASS. I have a journal paper that I need to finish and you need to stop epic failing perturbation theory.
