Im scared. When will senioritis go away?

Ok so at this point ive become the laziest slob imaginable and i fear that if this continues into college i will flunk out because right now i have a very hard time concentrating on schoolwork. I really doubt its newly onset ADD.

So college kids, when did YOUR senioritis go away?

When you hit college.

If you're in HS, trust me, it will NOT go away no matter how hard you try.

Unfortunately for some (namely me), senioritis is a chronic illness. I hope I'll get over it...soon...

freshmen year.

then it just gets a new name.

haha right....

the second half of your freshman semester is when you wake up one morning, hungover, you have class in 15min, you look like h***, and you realize you've got a D in a major-required class
then senioritis BEGINS to go away
unless you have a hard major (engineering), then it goes away partially when you first hit college, then you force it to go away before you flunk your finals...example: im about to pull an allnighter instead of sleeping before my 8am tomorrow morning)

after your first college midterm

Never; it's a downhill slope from high school.

Poster above me....totally agree!!

Well for me it's starting to hit me now, so I told myself second semester I need to step my game up before I am actually in jeopardy of my GPA.

Whenever I realize that I need a really good GPA to get a job at Morgan Stanley IBD. Which was like, 3 months ago. Except I'm not in college yet.

Pretty much...

Haha, this isn't good for me then =[

yeah me either all though im happy to say it hasnt really hit me yet...of course it might be because im not at MY school im at a different school and I need to keep my grades up to get back to my original school...woot woot for grades HAHAHA jk

as soon as you find out your mid-term grades and realize that you've got a C or B....and that your final grades are solely determined by exams. That's when you start working your *ss off.
