i'm sooo scared.

These are my last hours....

Last hours? What do you mean by that :P

Hey Coopjust

I think you were the one telling me about the CB rules and investigations stuff. You know, my little misdemeanor, and all that.

Yeah, I was discussing that with you before.

Ah, I see what you mean now; you mean if you'll get your scores or not in the morning, or whether or not they'll be available to you.

Well, try the javascript trick in a few hours. My scores were up after 7:30 EST on the night before for October. Even then, your scores might not be up early, and you won't be able to really tell until 8AM tomorrow.

Even then (another one), they might just have had too many scores, an issue with the shipping company, stopping of another kid for entirely different reasons, etc.

They'll send you a letter if their investigation occurs.

Who knows what'll happen? The most they'll do is cancellation w/ refund or free retest... so don't worry about it! In any event, your retake is likely to have fewer people (you might be the only one!), you're likely to have learned from your mistakes (judging by this thread, you have), you'll have had the experience of another SAT and be more likely to do well, and they'll rush the processing of the scores (they don't officially claim this, but I asked my GC about it and she said that they had the score reports of an investigated student within a week of the retake).

Don't worry about it! You can't do anything to change it. Let us know what happens!

I guess a retest wont be too bad. I will let you know though. Thanks for the continued support!

can anyone remind me what the java trick is (i used it on the last test, but i forget it...)--i remember there was an old thread with a list of steps to follow...anything like that is greatly appreciated

Eh, basically it works as such:
HUGE MONSTER BOLDED ITALICIZED DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT CONDONE THE USE OF THIS METHOD. YOU ASSUME ANY AND ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY RESULTS OF ITS USE.

1) Right click an old SAT, copy link location. Paste it into Word (or somewhere where you can paste and edit text).

You should get a code like this for an old SAT:
javascript:viewScoreReport('AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA', 'true')
(It'll be much more random than that, and if any spaces appear between the 32 "A"s, they shouldn't be there- the College Confidential Board does it for some reason)

2) Right click the new SAT, same deal as the first. Paste it right beneath the first.

It should be something like this for the November one:
javascript:viewScoreReport('BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB', 'November 19th, 2007')
3) Put the 32 character code from the November one, replacing the 32 character code from the old one:

Something like this for the November one:
javascript:viewScoreReport('BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB BBBBBBBBBB', 'true')
4) On the "My SAT" page, enter the entire thing in your address bar and hit "go" in your browser.

4 possibilities:
If you did it wrong, you'll get the "Scores should be available on..." in a little box with an OK option (you didn't put 'true' in this case)
OR
If you did it wrong, nothing will happen at all (check your spelling and syntax of the entire thing)
OR
If your scores aren't up, it should just refresh the page in a moment as it was, no scores.
OR
If your scores are up, they should appear in a few seconds.

hmm....theres nothing for me to click on the new SAT...i guess CB figured it out

Not even an "Order score services" button? It should be the same 32 characters...

yea that options not there this time...oh well

Did you order any score services before hand? People who ordered score services for the October test couldn't use the trick b/c the "Order Score Services" option was removed.

nope...theres just no hyperlink text under the 'Action Steps' thing where it was last time

and its because i didnt take the reasoning test! there we go
