I send the scores to in the registration ticket? Or can I send in the scores whenever?

You can send them later, but it'll cost money later.

I didn't you can send them later.

And if you end up taking it a second time, you can send them then. And then the first four schools you enter in are free. =)

if you're a senior and your apps are already in, make sure sure you know whether or not the colleges will take score this late in the game. waiting for you to order them after you've seen them may very well be too late.

If you're a junior, I'd just wait a bit to send the scores so you can review them yourself. What's a few bucks in the scores of thousands you'll be paying for tuition?

^^If you are a junior, there is no reason NOT to use the four free score reports, even if you take the test again and up with much higher scores.

bluebayou - Unless you don't know where you want to go yet... which is totally understandable at this point in time.

bluebayou, some people like to see their scores before they send them. If he does markedly worse on the SAT than he expects, and gets a better score on the ACT, he may prefer colleges don't see the SAT. Sure every college says they only take into account the highest score, but no one seems to know whether the score makes it past the secretary or not. It's really more for peace of mind.
