im tall

im tall and slim, you wouldnt think of me as unfit at all....most guys would hate my type

but i have been eating a lot lately and havent exercised for years

ive noticed i hunch a litte now (bend my top back and lift my shoulders higher ) <- might be because im not used to my height

and my belly is starting to pop out

how can i prevent this from getting worse? dont get me wrong im 6'0'' 155

um eat less if you want. or exercise more or both. whatever floats your boat.

or let it get really bad and then lose a ton of weight rapidly.

Exercise your core to improve your posture. I'd probably just do some push-ups and sit-ups. For the mini beer gut, just cut down on your caloric intake. I'd cut out any liquid calories you take in. I lost about 5 or 6 pounds in a month or two when I quit drinking sodas.

Running, stretching in a routine way can improve posture.

I'm short, skinny, and a f@g.

5'8 and 117lbs.

LOL 117 pounds. sucks to be you

Run. It's the answer to everything.

kind of a dumb question, but....

does running repeatedly(say running two miles 3 days a week) effect your height? i have heard that marathon runners actually shrink ~centimeters/~maybe even an inch long term b/c of the constant compression of their knees?

and another dumb question while I'm at it...

when someone asks you what your height is are they referring to 1.)your height w/out shoes on or 2.)your height w/ shoes on?

^

Running 2 miles 3 days a week won't affect your height.

Without shoes. (Your doctor asks you to take of your shoes when you get on that scale)

Uhh, you're not that tall.

theoretically, it would make sense to me that you would shrink a tiny tiny amount... maybe like 1/10 of an inch or something like that but im not really sure

Two miles 3 days a week is 6 miles. Marathon runners often 90-100 miles a week, and at a pretty fast pace.
