Unless you can raise your SAT Lehigh is a high reach.

@TomSrOfBoston … I threw in Lehigh just for the sake of having a reach in my college list. What about the others?

University of Pittsburgh and Villanova are also reaches for you with that SAT score, as their averages scores are a 1340 and 1370.

@oakland818 Should I still apply there?

You could try, maybe your EC’s could speak up for you in place of your test scores. Try to at least get your score up 100 or so points between now and the fall, and your chances will greatly improve.

@oakland818. The thing is, I didn’t prepare for the test because I took it during the school year! So, I’m gonna study, and gonna give an attempt on August

Ok but since that will essentially be the last time you can take it before you submit your application to college, you had better make sure it is a 1300, since you’ll have all summer to study. Most people, like myself, take tests during the school year though, so it’s not as if taking it during the year is really a reason why you can’t do well.

Definitely take SAT preparation before retaking the test. I would start with some sort of course (your local community center might have this, and there are on-line options). If you can afford it, a small amount of SAT tutoring can help quite a bit. For example, they will give you a sample test and see where you are strong and where you can use help. Then they can focus their time on specifically the area where it will do the most good.

Otherwise it looks like you are doing well.
