I'm thinking of attending community college - is this an ok SAT score?

Reading - 630

Math - 630

Writing - 660

Essay - 9

Total - 1920

*I really don't know what makes a "good" or "bad" SAT score - I'm very much out of the loop

I don't think I took the test as seriously as I should have (for example, the essay I wrote was very, very sarcastic: the readers might have felt as if I was satirizing the prompt). I didn't study, and this was my first time taking it. I'm happy with the score I got, because I'm strongly considering attending community college first for financial reasons. In that case, does my score even matter?

Furthermore, there's a small, small chance I might just attend the UC by my hometown. In that case, are my scores alright? Or should I take the test again.

Thanks!

Yep, a 1920 is really good especially for not studying. Obviously it doesn’t matter if your going to community college, but you could good financial aid for a high SAT score, especially if you study to take it again if you’re considering going to a University
