I'm unsure which major is best for the career I want.

I want to do something with either genetics and DNA or with using bio mimicry or using biotechnology to solve problems im just not sure which major is best for this. If I seem vague I’ve added a few videos to show what I’m interested in.

I’m a high school junior interested in about the same thing as you! From what I’ve found, biotechnology is the best major for it(obviously) but often it is hard to find the difference between that, and either molecular bio, microbio, genetics, pharmaceutical science(which is biotech focused on vaccines/cures), plant science(or similar) and marine bio with a focus in marine biotech. Biotechnology certainly doesn’t exist at too many universities as a stand alone major, at least not without a catch, or it being just a concentration under general bio. So for all you out there I ask the same question! Plus, is it better to do biotech undergrad or to have a general bio with biotech for grad, or is it better to do one of those other majors or etc?
