Impacted majors?

I want to major in nursing but i know its really competitive and impacted, would it be a good idea if i choose it as my major and minor in physics?

or major in physics and minor into something less impacted?

I want to increase my chances because im not so confident that im a good enough applicant

What are your stats?

Nursing had a selectivity rate of 5% and Physics was 54% last year. I would still apply to Nursing as your first choice and have Physics as your alternate.

Physics is very easy to get into so you should be safe with that as a backup
