Hey I am studying in the CBSE and i am currently in the 11th grade. How much importance is given to the 11th grade percentage and projected scores?
Ideally, colleges require only final exam percentage of 11th grade.
It is important as a consistent academic record will benefit your application.
Also, it is very important to keep your 12th midterm grades high.
Predicted/Projected scores don’t count much for the US, unless your counselor thinks you can perform better, or there is rampant grade deflation in your school, to ‘prepare’ you for boards.
If you are an average student, show an upward curve in your grades.
If you are already the top, maintain it.
Yeah. This is my concern also. Actually, i got only 60% in 11th class. I really want to join ivy school (especially columbia university, SEAS). I just want to know what should i do with this percentage. Can i compensate this with good SAT subjective scores. Please, anybody help.
@IvyOrNothing I am facing the same problem. I will probably get 70% in 11th which really upsets me.
@Tushar1010 What were your grades in 9th and 10th
9.4 and 9.8. What about you?
A 70% is extremely low for an Ivy. Look for safety schools as well and write mind blowing essays
I am facing the same problem, I am expecting 75% in class 11th but I secured a 10 cgpa in class 9th and 10th. I want to go to cornell, and I do need the tata scholarship. Do i have any chance ?
11th grade scores are really really important. 11th grade scores, if good(normally, this is 90+), might give you a huge advantage over many other applicants.
Tbh 11th grade scores are the MOST important. And you’re showing a downward trend (with a 9.4 and 9.8 and then 70-75%)
Any ivy league wants the best of grades.
What about? 85% in 11th
any chance on ivies?
Class 9th - 9.8
class 10th 9.2
