<p>I was wondering what role your "top three academic interests" section plays in admission to Williams. I put linguistics as my top choice, but I have no prior experience and am not multilingual. Will this hinder me in any way?

<p>Yes, I found that out today. Slightly confusing seeing as how it’s listed as a possible academic interest on their supplement. In any case, I emailed admissions and hopefully they’ll change it to literary studies.</p>
