Importance of Priority Registration for UC

<p>I'm applying at a lot of state schools all over CA as a transfer student. I've already sent out all my CSU apps, but I'm a bit behind on writing my essays for the UCs and would really like to finish them after my finals (last one on Dec 8th). Everyone keeps saying to get them in by the 30th for priority registration. Is this a factor in admittance? Are my chances any better if I get the applications in earlier? Or is priority registration literally referring to your registration date if you were to be admitted? </p>

<p>Please let me know if you know! I'm so swamped with my calc II and chem finals! I really need to be studying, but I don't want to mess up my applications either. </p>

<p>The deadline is on the 30th, not priority registration. YOu can’t submit your apps after the date.</p>
