hey guys. I am taking APUSH this year and was wondering if I should just go ahead and take the SAT II as well. However, I have been wondering what the point of them actually is. Are they like used for college admissions just like the regular SAT? additionally, I don't know if I could go very much longer studying US History >.<

Yes, colleges require a couple of SATII scores, and why not just take the USH SATII right after the AP test? The information is still going to be fresh in your mind.

It may be too late to register, but yes. A few colleges require 2 SAT 2s, and one (Georgetown) requires 3. A good number of selective schools accept them as extra data. Grab a copy of the sample test, give it a try.

I am signing up for it right now =)
just in time too; the deadline was May 5th

Phew! Good luck to you. The SAT subject tests are odd in that , I believe , once you have signed up, you can change which test(s) you actually take on test day. YOu might want to look at other ones as well.

I also signed up for Math level 2. I am in Honors Trig/Pre Calc this year so I think I will be pretty well prepared. The test is the first day of summer for me so that kinda sucks but oh well haha. I MIGHT get take Chem when I get there but idk because I am taking AP Chem next year…

For a lot of schools, math and US will be plenty. You can , I think, get some sample problems at the collegeboard site too. Just take your time and don’t make sillly mistakes.
