This is for people that applied to the UC's. I'm thinking about applying to a UC as a transfer next fall. I attend a 4-year university that uses a semester system. Our grade's are calculated as such:

A = 4
B+ = 3.5
B = 3
C+ = 2.5
C = 2
...

You get the idea. I went o UCSD's GPA calculator and their system brings down my GPA by 0.1 points (example: 3.5 to 3.4). I guess that this can make a pretty big difference in transfer admissions.

So which GPA is it that they consider in transfer admissions? Does it make a difference since I have a semester system and UCSD has a quarter? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
