Hi guys, can fellow Americans tell me how GPA is calculated at their schools? Are they converted from percentages first? I am a Canadian applicant and have no idea how the admission officers will judge my marks (in %, no GPA/ranking). A lot of my American friends have high 3.8+ unweighted GPAs, would that translate to 95%+ on the 100-pt scale?
Thanks so much :)

You need to ask each of the US colleges and universities on your application list how they want you to report your Canadian grades. Then you need to do what each place asks you to do for that application.

Thank you. Do you know what percentage does a 3.8 GPA in the U.S. translate to?
