Transfering as a Junior going on senior?

I was just curious if anyone had any advice on what would be a better option for me.

I am only taking 12 credit hours per semester, and took one 3 credit summer class ( I need 15 to be "on track," if you will). I need 3 more credits in order to move on from freshman to sophomore. This coming semester I will be taking 12 credits, which means 9 of those credits will go towards my sophomore year, and 3 will be to finish my freshman. Next semester I will end up obtaining 21 credits for my sophomore year. Then I will need 9 more credits to finish sophmore year the following semester and I will most definatley be taking at least 12 and possibly 1, 3 credit summer class which would mean I would only need 6.

Plan A) Opting to NOT take a summer class next summer, so I would need to complete 9 credit hours in order to move on from sophomore to junior. Ater the fall semester of 2011, take a semester off and wait for my letter of acceptance or rejection so that I will only have 3 credits towards my junior year and will be able to complete my last two years at the school of my choice. This seems like a decent option as the application is due in Janurary so the spring semester of 2012 will not be listed on my resume anyway.

Plan B) Do the above but instead opt to keep attending, and taking the usual 12 credits for the spring semester of 2012, and have 15-18 credits towards my junior year. This also seems like a decent option as the school/program I wish to transfer to could potentially require that I take more than two years anyway as the college I am currently attending has no program/degree and has limited classes in this field. So I will essentially just have completed my "general education," requirements and that is it.

Thanks for any advice you can give! =)
